Let's celebrate Lindy Hop in Aarhus once again!

🌟 The 5th edition of the "Why Not Aarhus Lindy Exchange" will take place from September 27th to 29th, 2024.

Join us for a full weekend of dancing with local and international bands, DJs, taster classes and social events. We guarantee a great weekend filled with joy and festivities in the charming city of Aarhus, and of course, a lot of lovely dancing!
 
The Aarhus Lindy Hoppers are thrilled to host all of you - local and guest dancers alike - in our cozy Lindy Hop scene. We can't wait to welcome you to Aarhus, so ask yourself: Why not?

Passes and prices

  • Early Bird Full Pass, 750 DKK - SOLD OUT
  • Full Pass, Follow, 900 DKK
  • Full Pass, Lead, 900 DKK

We have a limited amount of Early Bird Full Passes for sale from the 27th of March at 7 PM. The normal priced full passes will be available at the same time, so feel free to choose the pass/price that fits you best. Amount of Early Bird tickets is very limited - don't be surprised if it is sold out in 5 minutes!

The Full Pass gives you access to the whole Why Not Aarhus Lindy Exchange from Friday to Sunday including all the taster classes, all daytime activities, the Friday party, the Saturday party and the cool down party on Sunday. 

NB! Please note that the band line-up and schedule isn’t final and that we might need to make some changes during the months leading up to the event.

Ticket sale will open the 27th of March at 7 PM. 

How to register

Select your pass and proceed with the payment by following the instructions.

In the coming months, we will extra services such as merchandise and some food deals. You will find them at the "additional services" menu. Proceed with the payment by following the instructions.

After completing payment, you will receive a confirmation email - this is your ticket. Please have your confirmation email and your full name ready for check-in.

If you did not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam filter and please add whynotlindyhop@gmail.com and aarhuslindyhoppers@gmail.com to your email contacts. This will help ensure that you receive all future emails about the event from us. You will receive our full information guide via email in October.

All passes are personal and should not be shared between dancers. (See later about transferring your ticket).    

Refund policy
In genera

Aarhus Lindy Hoppers has a no refund policy. We do not offer any refunds for purchased passes or additional products, and the pass cannot be transferred to future events.
It is, however, allowed to transfer your pass to someone else. Please see below.

How do I transfer my ticket 

If you cannot join our event after all, you are free to transfer your ticket to someone else. If you do so, please contact us at whynotlindyhop@gmail.com with the full name of both the original and new pass holder and forward your confirmation email to the new owner. They will need it for check-in. The buyer needs to have the same role as you (lead/follow).

It is also possible to resell your ticket to someone on the waiting list - please contact us at whynotlindyhop@gmail.com.

The last chance to resell the ticket is the 20/09.


Be aware of scam

Take extra precautions if you want to buy your ticket from someone else! In recent years, Lindy Hop events globally have experienced a growing number of scam cases. If you do not personally know the person from whom you are buying the ticket, we kindly ask you to send us an e-mail to whynotlindyhop@gmail.com. We will gladly check it for you if a ticket exists in the seller’s name and/or if it has already been transferred to someone else.
Please be aware that the only official place of purchase is via Nemtilmeld.dk

Terms

  • All passes are personal and should not be shared between dancers. 
  • We do not refund passes. The exceptions are local COVID restrictions. 
  • We are not responsible for the loss of left personal belongings. If you forget something in our facilities, we keep it one month after the event before we give it to charity. 
  • With your participation in the Why Not Lindy Exchange, you give us permission to use and publish photographs and video material taken of you during the event.
