Event Description

We will enjoy a Christmas dinner together followed by dancing to Keep The Change Big Band and DJ music as long as our legs can hold us. Take this opportunity to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere with your fellow dancers and celebrate the year gone by while socializing and practising your Lindy moves.

This year the Christmas party will be extra grand once again!
Keep The Change is Aarhus based big band with 21 talented musicians. It’s the second time we will have so many musicians playing only for us.

Furthermore, we looked after a unique and delicious menu delivered by our private chef Theresa.

Christmas Party is a unique party because we also have some surprises for you: an announcement of the Social Dancers of the year. Some surprises we will keep a secret. And look forward to meeting fellow dancers from other cities too! We usually have some visitors from other lindy hop communities.

This year, we will have two types of passes: for Aarhus Lindy Hoppers members and NON members.

DINNER

Dinner is included in the FULL EVENING PASS price. Ordinary and vegan menus for you to choose from consist of a starter, main dish and dessert. Dinner is supplied by our private cook Theresa.
You will have to choose your dinner type in case you would like a vegan menu when purchasing your pass.

Smukt anrettet salater, med honningristet mandler, friske urter, bolche beder, og miso vinaigrette.

Hovedret
Flæskesteg Italien style på -
Langtidsbraiseret nakkekam fra økologisk gris. Hvide bønner, spidskål, fennikel, rosmarin og syltet citron.
Vegansk Hovedret: Hvide bønner braiseret i grøntsagsfond. Grillet spidskål, fennikel, rosmarin og syltet citron.
Sprøde kartofler bagt i olivenolie.
Dessert
Chokolademousse med hjemmelavet amaretto kirsebærsauce (to variationer vegansk og animalsk)

IN ENGLISH
Welcome snack
Crispy vegetable chips with plant-based tarragon mayonnaise.
Starters
Delicious salads with honey-roasted almonds, fresh herbs, sweet bites, and miso vinaigrette.
On the side, slices of cold-smoked wild salmon.
Sourdough bread and herb pesto.
Main course
Italian-style roasted organic pork: long-time braised neck ham. White beans, white cabbage, fennel, rosemary and pickled lemon.
Vegan main course
White beans braised in vegetable stock. Grilled white cabbage, fennel, rosemary, and pickled lemon.
+ Crispy potatoes baked in olive oil.
Dessert
Chocolate mouse with homemade amaretto cherry sauce,
(vegan or ordinary)

DRINKS

Feel free to bring your own drinks. We will not have a bar at the spot.
But we will have water served.

DRESS CODE 
The best you have. For your inspiration: shiny, red, white, black, Christmassy.

LAST CHANCE TO BUY TICKETS
We have a limited amount of tickets. 
The ticket sale will be open until the 1st of December, 23:55. It will NOT be possible to buy tickets at the door or later than the 1st of December.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

PARKING
Do not use parking spaces at Sifgård Plejecenter - parking is only for employees and relatives of the care home. You are also not allowed to park at the drive-in. Neither on the road nor the grass area, as there must be a free passage for an ambulance or the fire brigade.
We kindly ask you to park at the public parking space 120 meters South of Elværket or find a spot at the residential roads close to Elværket. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Busses no. 4A, 11, 15, 22 stops at Haslevej/Silkeborgvej just 2 min walk from Elværket. Night bus is 113N. For more up to date information check https://www.rejseplanen.dk/.
