Event Description

Join us for the ALH Christmas Party, an evening of swinging beats, delicious holiday dinner, and festive cheer! Embrace the community spirit as we celebrate the year gone by.

To start off, we have curated a delicious 3 course meal with vegan options, crafted by our private chef. Be sure - your taste buds will be tantalized!

Don't miss the chance to experience the rich new sound of the beloved Flying Jazzman which is now a Sextet ! With two horns and a guitar added to the rhythm group, the band, led by the amazing pianist Jan Nielsen, will keep you on the dance floor all night!

And that's not all – as always we have some exciting surprises in store, including the announcement of the Social Dancers of the Year and some amazing community performances .

As always we also look forward to meeting fellow dancers from other cities and Lindy Hop communities.

PASSES

This year, we will have two types of passes: for Aarhus Lindy Hopper members and NON members.
You are a member of ALH if you attended our classes in the 2025 spring or autumn semesters OR you have paid the membership fee in 2025. Forgot if you are a member or not? Email us at aarhuslindyhoppersevent@gmail.com. 

Full Evening Pass price with the dinner:  280 DKK / SALE OPEN FOR MEMBERS 
Full Evening Pass price with the dinner:  350 DKK / SALE WILL ONLY OPEN IF MEMBERS WILL NOT BUY ALL FULL EVENING PASSES 

Party Pass price entrance after dinner:  100 DKK / SALE OPENED FOR ALH MEMBERS
Party Pass price entrance after dinner:  DKK 150 / SALE OPENED FOR NON ALH MEMBERS

DINNER

Dinner is included in the FULL EVENING PASS  price. Ordinary and vegan menus for you to choose from consist of a starter, main dish and dessert. Dinner is supplied by our private cook. 
You will have to choose your dinner type in case you would like a vegan menu when purchasing your pass.


MENU WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER

However, we will have Risalamande for dessert made by our community members. 

DRINKS

Feel free to bring your water bottle, but we will also have a bar at the location. We serve soft drinks, beers, wine, and delicious cocktails. 

DRESS CODE 

The best you have. For your inspiration: red, green, sparkly, festive vintage.

LAST CHANCE TO BUY TICKETS
We have a limited amount of tickets. 
The dinner pass will be open until the 5th  of December, 23:55. It will  NOT be possible to buy party passes at the door or later than the 11th of December.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

PARKING
Do not use parking spaces at Sifgård Care Home - parking is only for employees and relatives of the care home. You are also not allowed to park at the drive-in. Neither on the road nor the grass area, as there must be a free passage for an ambulance or the fire brigade.
We kindly ask you to park at the public parking space 120 meters South of Elværket or find a spot at the residential roads close to Elværket. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Buses no. 4A, 11, 15, 22 stops at Haslevej/Silkeborgvej just 2 min walk from Elværket. Night bus is 113N. For more up to date information check https://www.rejseplanen.dk/.
