Lindy Hop Saturday w/ Coline & Claudia

about building confidence with solo jazz and incorporating it into partnered dancing

This is the Saturday part of a weekend workshop.

Join us for a fun and inspiring weekend with Coline & Claudia from France in Aarhus! Together, we’ll explore the basics of dancing to swing jazz, focusing on how solo jazz and partnered Lindy Hop fit together. This weekend will help you build your confidence, express your own style, and make partner dancing more enjoyable and interactive as you and your partner inspire each other on the dance floor.

We’ll also talk about the culture of jazz music and dance, and our place in it, during a Friday night community discussion with Coline and Claudia—followed by social dancing. Saturday features an intermediate/advanced class and an evening swing party with a live band. On Sunday, there’s another open-level class. Each session will help you build confidence in adding solo steps to your Lindy Hop. You can join one or both days. We can’t wait to jazz with you!



Requirements:

  • ALH members: You are currently taking Level 3 or have taken it at least once.

  • Other dancers: You have at least 4 years of experience taking regular classes and social dancing.
